The AppalSeed Initiative
2024-2025. Berea, KY. Helped found the AppleSeed Initiative as an outgrowth of UChicago Harm Reduction Project's work on housing instability. AppleSeed provides one-time security deposit cash grants to help unstably housed folks move into apartments. Ruby travelled to Berea, Kentucky to aid with the establishment of the fund, and her photography is used on the Fund's website and marketing publications.
