About the Photographer

Ruby Velez studies Human Rights and pre-law at the University of Chicago. She grew up taking pictures with her sisters, and now shoots portraiture, concerts, and documentary work on film. Aside from photography, she enjoys advocacy work from the boards of the UChicago Harm Reduction Project and Project Reproductive Freedom.
